I know ROP came out a while ago but i was wondering... when/where the heck do i get a string? i have been fling around forever and have about 7.00M (i boarded some disabled ship in the levo system and it had 23M in it) and i still don't have a string.. can anyone tell me whats wrong?

There are TWO distinct ways to play REALM OF PREY. You can fly for the Earth Confederacy or its nemesis, The Faction. Getting introductory missions in this plug-in are determined by both your legal and combatstatus.

For the introductory mission, you must have a DECENT INDIVIDUAL status and a minimum of a DANGEROUS combat rating, at which point the probability of getting the first mission is about 5%. The introductory mission is available for the Earth Confederacy at ANY Confed planet or station; likewise, for The Faction at ANY Faction world. Any future Earth missions will be from Gateway Station whilst future Faction missions are available from Blackthorne... unless directed elsewhere by the mission text.
