There seems to be a plague of EVN posters.
Perhaps our trusty moderators can request that Ambrosia add the word "Classic" to the title of this board to help guide EVN Newbies to the proper location.

Absolutely agree. EVN players post too much on the EV board, then have it explained that this is the EV board and it should be posted on Nova board, and then its locked. Like now, when EVula reposted the two newest EVN threads on the Nova board. Or moved.

Just to clarify, I didn't repost the Nova topics that were posted here to the EVN board. I always check to see if the author has already reposted; if they have, I merely lock it. No point in a topic existing three times, rather than two.

Heh, yeah, that's what pisses me off more. It's one thing to get something wrong once (everyone makes mistakes), but to do it multiple times when I friggin' tell them not to do it again is just frustrating.

I'm don't exactly know how this forum engine works, but perhaps it would be possible to put a so called "sticky" at the top with the header telling people not to post Nova questions in here. I doubt it would help 100% but it's a start. As long as there are new Nova-players, people are going to make mistakes.

No. Unnecessary. Besides, locks show better that you cant post there anymore than dots. Besides, I think UBB doesnt support that, so I guess it would reguire modifying of UBB.

Pretty good point, but there are some morons that would probably assume that its f EV in general (all versions). So it might be a little helpful, just don't know how much...

If you could move the actual location of the EV Nova fourm on the main list to the top of the Escape Velocity section.. probably a lot of people are scrolling and see "Escape Velocity" and click.
