The PriCon always used the S.S. prefix as far as I can remember (at least in the Empire series).
As for the T.S.S. prefixes in ROP, I think Tim just decided to let it stay.

Perhaps the Earth Confederacy ships should have been given the designation "E.C.S." instead of "T.S.S." But then again, maybe he's following the tradition of letting the Confed (EVC) ships go by "U.S.S." instead of "C.S.S."

You used EV-Edit? :eek: EV-Edit is legendary for bugginess and corrpting files. It should NEVER be used unless you just want to view files. Use Mission Computer or EVONE to make plug-ins.

You said you have Centris 650. Well, according to the General Tab of Basilisk II it is compatible. The Model ID of Centris 650 is said to be compatible with OS 8 when you select it. Just buy OS 8. Course, it costs $ 50 so if you dont want to do that you have to just bear with ResEdit. EV-Edit may be a little easier to use, but its bugginess is not worth it.
