Rebels trade all the time. Their freighters only appear in Confederate missions, however. You Rebels wouldn't know that.

I am eager to try to ansver mission questions -
The rebellion, being nothing more than a military movement aimed at destroying the Confederation, doesn't bother regulating space traffic, providing transponders and so on. Therefore, civilians from rebel-dominated planets have no transponders, just like those from independent planets, whereas Confederation citizens have Confederation transponders. The modern-day equivalent would be for them to not bother issuing licence plates.

Well, the Rebels wouldn't want to put Rebel transponder codes on their freighters anyway...they'd get blasted apart pretty often.

Agreed. I would ask David to be quit being anti-Rebel everytime they are mentioned, but he wouldnt do it anyway.

Why the hell shouldn't he be anti-rebel? It's not as if it offends your religious beliefs or anything, and I don't see how he was being anti-rebel in the first place, he was merely pointing out a reasonable explanation.
