It's been a while since we've had a competition, and I'm wondering whether there's enough interest to start another one:
The Mr Blarg challenge (just a rough sketch, we can always change it):
The requirements are that you must be playing on strict play and the most expensive ship you can fly is a Rapier (and anything that costs less). And, most importantly, NO ESCAPE PODS ARE ALLOWED.
What you have to do is to see how far you can get before dying. Each task you complete will earn you a certain amount of points, and the person with the most points at the end wins.
If you acheive a deadly rating, you get 1 point, if you acheive an ultimate rating, you get an extra 4 points.
Completing the Rebel/Confed mission strings will earn you 10 points
Completing the Diphdian mission string will earn you 5 points
Completing the Turin V mission string (once you start getting 'defend Turin V' missions, you've done all the non-reccuring missions) earns you 3 points
Doing all 3 (or is it 4?) Starbound Express Missions earns you 3 points
Becoming a member of the UGE earns you 1 point
Succesfully doing the UGE smuggling mission earns you 5 points (you can only get 5 points, no matter how many smuggling missions you sucessfully acheive)
Getting caught while doing the UGE smuggling mission loses you 5 points
Destroying Matt Burch earns you 100 points 
You also get a certain amount of points for each planet you dominate:
**if you dominate a planet guarded by defenders or 6-14 government fighters, you get 2 points
if you dominate a planet with 14-36 government fighters or under 20 rapiers, you earn 4 points
if you dominate a planet with 36-150 government fighters or over 20 rapiers, you earn 6 points
if you dominate a planet with 4-16 Destroyers/Frigates, you earn 10 points
if you dominate a planet with 16-50 Destroyers/Frigates, you earn 20 points
if you dominate a planet with 50-100 Destroyers/Frigates, you earn 50 points
if you dominate a planet with any more, you earn 100 points (like you're going to do that in a rapier

I don't think I've missed anything out. This has to work on an honesty system, so no lying/force quitting if you die. Also, a screenshot will greatly boost your credibility.
