    • Isn't there a plugin that features a ghost ship?

Such as a ghost Kestrel or Cruiser...? I know I've played one in which a ghost ship follows you around until you find some way to destroy it, but I can't remember which one it was. Can someone help?

    • Eye of Orion I believe...

    • I don't remember one being made, but the idea sounds familar. I've played one where the ships were dead black, so it seemed like they were invisible. What exactly do you mean by "ghost"?

    • You may be thinking of Override's U.E.S. Incontrovertible...

It was a ship that was lost during the Voinian Wars, but reappears from time to time, saving hapless travelers and spacefarers...I wrote it into a story of mine oncet.

      Cheers,

    • Nope. visitor's right, it is in "Eye of Orion." Several of the missions involve a real ghost ship called...believe it or not..."The Flying Dutchman" which is a Confed Cruiser that fled a battle during The Great War and was condemned to fly for all eternity with it's crew unable to move on. The crew of the "Dutchman" is made up of skeletons wearing old-style Confed uniforms and brandishing cutlasses! As I remember, "Eye of Orion" was one great plug. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot! You won't be disappointed!
As far as one where the ships were dead black, so as to make them as good as invisible, I think you're thinking of the NPPK fighters in "Clavius and Beyond." The only way to "see" them is with your targetting sensors. Also, the Terran Star Empire of Tim Isle's "Empire" series makes use of a "stealth" fighter that is very hard to see as well. The Darkships in "E3: Endgame" are actually a blue so dark you can barely make them out.

      Thanks!

    • I seem to remember "Eye of Orion" always locking up my old Performa, but then again I haven't tried it since i had that thing a good many years ago and the odds are it has been updated. For some reason it sticks out in my mind that it always locked up, because I think I really liked the premise (not that I remember what it was).

      Hrm...middle of the night ramblings...fun.

    • The only problem I'm having is that the missions appear out of order. I think the misbits need to be "reassigned," otherwise instead of getting missions A, B, C, D..., you'll get A, B, R, O,... Fer instance, I'm already being attacked by the Brotherhood, even though I haven't solved the Tomb mystery. BTW: I did a little searching for "Guapo" on Google, and found quite a bit. Here's a site you might find "interesting:"

    • hahaha that Enter the Guapo thing is GREAT!

      P.S.
This is a test post, because I can't seem to post a new topic for anything...that's quite annoying. If this DOES get posted, is anyone else having trouble making a new topic? Or is it just me?

    • Nope! It's just you! Are you logged in? Glad you liked the Guapos!
