I'm trying to make a pillar of lava in my 4th level, but when Ferazel gets near it, the game freezes. Any advice?

Does the game freeze when he touches it, or when you are about to see it on screen?

When he touches it. Used to freeze right before it came onto the screen, but I fixed that (I'm not sure how)
