I think you've got your head screwed on wrong. How could crushing something so small and puny be more satisfying than conquering a huge and massive galactic superpower? I don't get it. I'd be more proud to say that I had conquered the Empire from Star Wars than the tiny little band of Rebels.

Yeah, so I've noticed. Reminds me of the intraweb-café we had in senior high. Every computer-related thread ended in futile Mac vs. PC-flames with the Linux-guy jumping to conclusion every once in a while just to be noticed. same thing with sports: three local supporter groups beat each other over the head at any given chance...

um...yeah...the Rebel Cruiser IS stronger, I looked at its shield and stuff in Res Edit. Also, the Rebel Cruiser can launch all of its fighters almost instantaneously, which CAN be QUITE an advantage. hmm...okies. oh, and yes the bulk freighter could be decked out, but it would require a few mass expansions, and a lot of cheating (Res Editing) to upgrade its structural integrity, etc. um, ok, that's about it...but I would like to ask a question, myself...how and where do I find the Aliens? They're supposed to be by or in the Trugati Asteroid Belt. I've been through the whole surrounding area, and through the belt, OVER, and OVER!!! and...OVER...for the past few weeks. why can't I find them? thank you! I hope my comments are helpful.

I wish to offer a correction: the Confed. Cruiser has the heaviest shields on any ship that you can buy in the game. The Alien Crusier's shields are 1500, three time the Rebel Cruiser's shields, and almost twice the shields of a Confed. Cruiser.
