that might be used in a plug as your own personal ship (no-one else would have it), what would it be? Proviso's:

1. The ship must be either a standard (regular EV in-game) ship, or one from any plug-in you've played.
2. No ultimate (über) ships or weapons, please!
3. Use any weapons/outfits from any plug-in.
4. If your ship uses a fighter bay, please say so/what fighters/how many.
5. Please provide information as to shield/armor strengths, shield recharge rates, etc.
6. Please provide information as to weapons amounts (how many missiles...).
7. If you do as I do and "fiddle" with the ship/weapons statistics (shield/armor strengths, shield recharge rate, rate of weapons fire, weapons' damage ratings...), please list what your ship/weapons stats would be set to.
8. Please list what plug-ins you are getting your ship/weapons/outfits from.

This topic has probably been hashed and rehashed many times. Since each post would probably be quite long, if you wish to e-mail me your responses, please do! Thanks very much!

(I once tried to create an eMac ship for a plug-in of my own, but it didn't work too well. I tried to use the (url="http://"http://www.apple.com/hardware/gallery/emac_apr2002_320.html")Quicktime VR(/url) on the Apple Web site to take screen shots of each individual frame and turn them into a ship. I took the screen shots, sized them, put it all together, and actually used it, but it was a little "choppy" if you know what I mean...)

(Was pretty cool, though... And no, I don't still have it. My registered copy of EV was actually trashed a while ago mistakenly, so I don't have anything anymore. )

Ya got some good stuff there, guys! UR: I didn't mean that you could use items from EVO plugins. I'm surprised you didn't choose to use SAE's! BoK: I saw that on the website! Wonder how come there's no graphic to go with the description? The Terran Empire has a new fighter in "Empire of Crime" that looked sorta like they took the Confed Patrol Ship and lengthened it, making it look sorta like the F-104 Starfighter! It really looks fast and deadly! Just got through playing the Sauridian string in "Endgame" (E3). I've already played the Weave and Scav strings. If you haven't played it or haven't played the Sauridian string, give it a try! It's a blast! Plus, the Sauridian ships use the graphics Bomb used for the Kytaan ships in "F-25" (EVO).

I only used the shield booster from EVO. I've never really used the SAEs, I'm more of a primary fire. I do missiles or torps on occasion though.

So you can use EVO upgrades too? I didnt know that first. Because there is so many EVO plug upgrades, and I dont remember the names of them all, youll have to wait to Friday when I can get to my Mac and design my ship.

Considering the fact that EV and EVO take place in vastly different configured universes/galaxies, I thought it better to keep EV ships/weapons/outfits strictly EV.
Well, I'm going to have to download EV and the plugs all over again, as well as the stuff for the emulator because my PC screwed up! I got a "NTLD (I think that's how it's spelled) is missing" message as well as other files missing or corrupted. Had to get someone over here to look at it. Eventually had to do a complete restore. Everything I ever downloaded/wrote/created is lost! :frown:

Gee, that's a shame, UR! I used WarBeast's "tutorial" and downloaded the files to put Basilisk II on my system (once more). Mine's working fine! So is Bomb's (just ask him)!
Fortunately the lady who "fixed" my PC is coming over Friday morning and she's gonna teach me how to burn CD's. She's also gonna help me get my scanner set up right. I dunno if you've ever had to do a complete restore, but after putting back all (or as many) of the files I lost makes me wanna go out and buy Preparation H by the gallon! That's why I'm having her teach me how to burn CD's.
As to the ship...what I'm wondering is how to put all my choices into a plug that would only give me (and my fleet, if I have one) the ship(s)/weapons/outfits... I mean, I wouldn't care to take the time to create a "killer" ship (along with unique weapons), only to find myself fighting a pirate...with very much the same gear!

Okay, Ill keep it to EV plug-ins then. But if the EVO shield booster is allowed, ill take it then. (did you mean Shield Booster or Experimental Shield Generator?)
