Work continued on defensive measures, but there wasn't much more that they could do. Construction of the battlestation was also going well, and their fleet continued to be enlarged, making it even more deadly.

They also began work on researching a kind of anti-matter pulse weapon, named the Venom Turret, which would be much more powerful than proton weaponry, would have a better range, and would not take up any more space. Research commenced immediately.
