I don't really know, but I think it's dumb because Bulk Freighters are really weak. Are you a Confed? If you are, do Confed missions and get the Frigate or Cruiser. Bulk Freighters are really weak and they aren't warships. It's pretty dangerous being a Bulk Freighter because a lot of guys can get you. I don't know why I'm saying this. I'm a Rebel Manta and I hate confeds. Just giving you an advice. If you see a Rebel Manta with nutron cannon and laser turret, don't destroy him. It's me.
You must either capture it or download or create a plugin that allows you to purchase it.

In EV Nova it does, but in EV, you must capture a Bulk Freighter or download a Plug-in that makes it purchasable. But still that'll be dangerous because Bulk Freighters are so weak that they can even be destroyed by Argosy Pirates or Mantas. I don't think you should be one. they're REALLY slow too. I think you should just be a trader or be a Rebel. If you're going to be a Confed, don't get the Cruiser. It's so slow so you can be destroyed easily. Since it's slow, it's the same strength as the Rebel Cruiser. If it was faster, the Rebel Cruiser might lose since Confed Cruisers have more Neutron turrets then Rebels. But I still think you should be a Rebel. It's more exciting being a Rebel.

Yeah I guess. Bulk Freighters don't fight at all. I at least like them better than Cruisers. Which Rebel ship do you have, or do u just have a Kestrel or something? I'm going to get a Rebel Cruiser since i just finished the Alien mission.
