Last night, I defeated two Kestrels and their four Lightnings in my modified Kestrel. I torpedeoed the Kestrels first, stole their money and ammo, and then dispensed with the Lightnings. My shields and armour took a beating, as I recall, but I made something like 800K credits, with my only expenditures being 30 Torps (and I managed to steal 8 back, from one of the Kestrels).

I found a disabled Kestrel with its fighters still onboard when I was flying round in a shuttle. Bet you can't guess what I did

Everyone remember the, T.A.G You're It mission? (From the Artemis group) Well, I thought you were supposed to beeat them all, so I took em all out. Nothing special, but I'm kind of proud of it.

Geez!!! I've played countless pilots ... and this is the first time I've heard anyting about NOT needing to kill 'em all in T.A.G.. (That's what I do -- every time.) So how few Kestrels do you have to take out?
About a year ago Mac posted that he'd done the Alien mission in a Scoutship. I was instantly motivated.... I did it the next day ... then went on to the Artemis missions (still in the Scout). Artemis was more difficult than the Alien Cruiser, but I did it.
(Most people would think the next obvious step would be to do it again ... in a Shuttle. Never tried -- and doubt I will.)

You still have to take out all the kestrels, but I thought you were supposed to take out all the other pirates along with it... (What were they, lightnings? Rapiers?...)

I bet it's the time when I became a Pirate-I got a Confed Cruiser and THEN became a Pirate. Nobody could beat me since I kind of tweaked it, and finally ALL planets hated me and it got boring for me so I stopped.
