Have y'all tried the Homing Mines (E2)/Energy Mines (E3)/Anti-ship Mines (E5)? They're all the same weapon, just different names. I find I use these most of all (after a bit of fiddling with their specs). Haven't tried the Cult's Kinetic Warheads yet. That's next on my list! When it comes to ships, do y'all tend to favor big, slower-moving ships or smaller, faster ships? I like the smaller ones. Even though the big ships tend to be somewhat tougher, they do make a big target. They're what I target first with my mines, then go after the fighters with missiles or beam weapon. I think the mines should have been called something else. The purpose of a mine is to sit in one place until a ship hits it, upon which it explodes. Perhaps they should b e renames Homing Torpedoes (or something similar). If you've looked closely at one, it looks quite solid (therefore, Energy doesn't fit). Also, Anti-ship seems a bit unnecessary, don't you think? What else would you use them for? What do y'all think of a topic called "What do you think would be the best ship/weapon(s) combination possible (from all the possible ships/all the possible weapons from all the plugs)?" Your choice could only include the ships and weapons available in the plugs. Fiddling with the specs (to a degree) is allowable. Maybe we could put these in a separate plug and play around with them.
