This has probably been posted before, but since obviously opinions change, and digging up a two year old thread won't do for that, I'm just wondering, what's your favorite plug? I thought the Star Wars one was quite well done, except the planetary defences were a bit... powerful and the Rebel forces really didn't have much. Some of them were kind of comical (not exactly in a good way), I remember one where the description said that it was a small ship, yet it was bigger than any other ship. It was also uh, orange and powered by a black hole. Very amusing No offence to whoever made it, or like it, mind you.

Favorite plug-in, or just thoughts on plug-ins in general...

My personal favorite was EVGE; it really expanded (like it should've) the EV universe and really served as an example to future plug-ins what they could be. Whatever that means.

Pale really was the best of the best of the "add-one-government-and-lots-of-really-good-missions" class. There's lots of those, but there's only one Pale.

On the topic of the Star Wars plug-ins, I thought in some aspects SW-ANA did a better job of creating the atmosphere (um, ship scaling, for instance), and though I didn't play SW2 very much, it did better than SW-ANA with missions (SW-ANA just modified the original EV missions).

I like Galactic Scourge. It was really well done; lots of new missions, lots of new ships, big new universe, and some really funny parts. I haven't been able to download any new plugs though. It just loads the page, I select download, and it never starts the download.
