i did it, i did it! i have the tractor beam! but let me tell you, i had to sell some of my proton and lasers so i wouldn't be bombarding it too much, because yes, i killed it many times. then these other rebel ships would come in just after i disabled it and killed it! i got so frustrated, but i just counted to ten and took a deep breath and GOT IT!
so now what should i do? tee hee.
i've taken over all confed planets except sol and ruby, and i can't seem to find lucas anywhere after i gave the documents in New Antigua...
btw, are there any more big rebel missions after that one?

'im also going to look into those plug-ins about now, unless there is still some stuff to do in just regular EV...

Congratulations! (I remember shredding the blasted Transport countless times myself ... AND having the "helpful" Rebels kill it when I finally disabled it, but had not yet boarded it ... AND even having my own Corvette escorts kill it after I disabled it. Boy! That mission really tested my patience.)

After all that, David Arthur finally told me a single torp disables the Exec Transport. (Now you know too. :D)

If you have not completed the Artemis mission, I recommend it. The mission string has actual "plot development" in it. Pay attention to where Lucas told you to meet him next. And be sure to visit Diphidia II....

Ah... that mission. It's actually my next mission in the line, come to think of it. In situations like that, I usually destroy everything in my path, including Rebels trying to "help" me. I'm evil like that.

Well done on completing the mission. I remember the hardest thing i had was disabling the transport without a)killing it immediatly, or allowing it to jump out the system.
Good luck with the plug-ins. I'm sure you'll soon find out how easy the basic EV mission set is when you start playing the other plugs. Good luck, its nice to see that even so many years after EV's release people are still just realising how good it is. Happy hunting.
