5)Considering the Confederate's actions in Lethe would probably cause some discontnet among the Letheans, underground resistence probably would have sprung up, and they would have been in contact. I know this sounds far fetched, but think about it
Ok, I thought about it. I don't believe it.

6)What does that have to do with anything?
You have to act like you didn't know certain things, even if you saw them in the topic, because you wouldn't know them in real life.

8)In case you never read the intro text to EV, it says that the Confederation became tyrannical and unjust, and most people would oppose that.
All right. Say some bad people have just captured your planet, started ruining your crops, and basically ended your happy little life as an innocent farmer. However, there is a group of people who you heard were sort of mean to your planet before the planet gained independence, and they are trying to stop the bad people from ruining your life. Who do you side with? The bad people, of course! You even valiantly take some table salt and a shovel and try to destroy your crops to help the bad people, who are easily taking five minutes to cover one third of their planet with salt.

9)And I suppose it's reallistic to capture a planet in 5 minutes? Do not underestimate the citizens' power. They would resist, and by the time you would have put them all down it would be too late.
It wouldn't be to hard, actually, especially for the powerful Confederation. And most of the citizens would not resist. Some would, most wouldn't.

- I'm not saying that I can, but the entire planet isn't farmland. I'm guessing around 20-30% is farmland, 60% is ocean, and the remaining is mountains, forests, etc. Even if I only destroyed half of the soil, the agricutural value would be seriously reduced.
That's rediculous estimation, IMHO.
