(url="http://"http://www.ev-nova.net/")EV-Nova.net(/url) has a direct link to get ResEdit on their front page. It's on the left hand side.

Practically anywhere. Heck, the thing is less than a megabyte, so you could even ask me to email you.
Shouldn't this question go on the EV Developer's Corner?

It could be put there, but ResEdit can also be used to peek into the resources to get answers to scenario-related questions; that's why I'm leaving it here.
I'm also lazy.

Don't worry about res edit. Get EV Edit instead. It's way better for EV, and it's cool

Nah, don't bother with EV Edit, if you have the time, Res-edit is much more useful, plus EV Edit has some bug problems.

Yeah, it is cool in that way that it causes most of your plugin's data to get corrupted. What's better than that?
"Corrupted plugin... TO THE EXTREME!!!"

EV-Edit
• When you make a change to ships, düdes, përs and other such ship/weapon areas, you can be certain it'll work.
• When you try to make a change to a system, you can be almost certain that your computer will freeze up.
• When you try to play with VisBits, you have a deathwish.
• If you would care to make a mission, you'll be delighted to find that it won't work, and will spend several hours trying to fix it before realising several flags are seriously messed up.
• There's a nice loading screen.
• It's shareware, not freeware.
Res-Edit
• It can be used for EV, and then when you get a little bored, can be used to play around with other stuff.
• It's complicated.
• It doesn't look very friendly.
• If you make a change, there's quite a high chance you'll have messed it up and nothing/the wrong thing, will happen.
• VisBits and system modifications can be dealt with.
• There are a grand total of no bugs.
• It's freeware, not shareware.
Solution : Stay away from both and pray, pray...

Actually, I think ResEdit is MUCH better than EV-Edit. When I started, I used EV-Edit to make systems, and the program put random links everywhere and I couldn't get rid of them. It got annoying so I trashed EV-Edit. Also, the shareware messages were annoying. ResEdit is a good program. Actually, if you go to Freaky's Macintosh Archives at
(url="http://"http://freaky.staticusers.net/")http://freaky.staticusers.net/(/url)
You can look in the Macintosh Programs section to find a program called Super ResEdit. It is a modified version of ResEdit (And it was Okayed by Apple, nothing illegal). Using the "Forker" extention that comes with it, you can edit Data Forks in lots of programs. It's a Very useful program and is also very small. Try it!
