This was not what Jimbob needed. The war in Yumero was prying on his mind, and the loss of more southern planets really pissed him off. He began another attack sequence which started with the retreated ships that fell out of range meeting with the reinforcements. A huge barrage of torpedos was fired and it saild across the sky with a yellow glow. The MkII's, Frigates, and most prowlers were no more. The corvette count also greatly dropped. Pleased with this success, Jimbob ordered the destroyers and deployed Mantas to charge with torpedo fire cover. The Mantas began launching the missles, and the Gunboats and patrol ships were being hammered. With that going on, Jimbob focused his attention to the Levo ships. This battle would have been won a time ago and the Rebels would control the north had it not been for them. The cruisers then fired missles and a few torpedos at the Argosies, while the warbirds shot missles at the Rapiers and began some up close combat. The Destroyers and Mantas got most of the Confederate fighters out of the game, and the Levo Rapiers had taken a heavy beating, While the Argosies got hammered.

OOC: Sorry Jimbob, but there is so much wrong with that post I feel I'll need to change some things about it in my reply, you didn't even get my fleet numbers right. Let's see which on Ne Demord Jamais thinks is more realistic.

When the reenforced Rebel fleet came withing weapons range and began launching torpedoes they were immeditaly met with a reply from the Confederate fleet. As the Rebel Destroyers and Warbirds launched torpedoes at the slower Fed Cruisers, Ipvicus' fleet replied in kind as Gunboats, Patrol ships, and Corvettes concentrated their missile fire on the closest Destroyers; they were able to take several out before they could get off a second salvo. The Confederate Cruisers, Frigates and Levoan Rapiers, however concentrated their own torpeado fire on the Rebel Cruisers, destroying 2 and diableing 3 more. As damaging as the Rebel topedo barrage had been its affect had been reduced by the fact that a little over half of the Rebel ships had already severly depleted their ammo stores in the last few battles. Despite this, the already damaged R.N.S. Defiant and another cruiser newly arrived from Turin were completely destroyed and the other two Cruisers were still taking damage.
When the Rebel Mantas came forward from the rest of the fleet and began to engage the Confederate Fighter Screen they were met once again with the fierce resistange of the 181st, this time backed up by Levoan Corvettes and Rapiers. The fighter battle raged on while the Rebel Capitol ships moved in to finish off the two Remaining Confederate Cruisers. The Rebels soon found out that, even when outnumbered the Mk.II Cruiser was not easy prey. As two Rebel Cruisers tried to close within turret range they were stopped in their tracks by the particle beam fire and nearly cut in half. Now working in concert the Enterprise and the R.N.S. Hood as well as the two surviving Frigates were laying waste to the Rebel capitals that were trying to surround and destroy them. When a squad of Destroyers massed to attempt and make a torpedo run on the belaguard Cruisers they were suddenly beset by the 6 Prowler Corvettes that had managed, with their outstanding speed, to evade the initial guided terror unleashed by the Rebels. Fireing heavy rockets and emptying spacebombs the Prowlers descimated the Rebel Destroyers.
By this time the entire battle had turned into a bloody mass of carnage, through sheer mass of numbers the Rebel's were finally wearing down the Confederate fleet. Hit repeatedly by the massive fire of the Rebel Cruisers and Warbirds surrounding it the R.N.S. Hood floated dead in space, and the Rebel fleet was closeing in to finish off the Enterprise. All this changed however when Battle Group Three, who had rushed at flank speed from Capella finally arrived. Breaking up the the Rebel formation Battle Group Three jumped in right on top of the Enterprise. Rallying behing the new reenforcements the confed fleet forced the Rebels back inflicting heavy losses. Prowlers kept on hiting the Rebel Capitals and Destroyers while the new Firgates hammered the retreating ships with misilles and torpedoes. The fast Levoan Corvettes made multiple sorties against the fleeing mantas blasting them apart with javelins and heavy rockets.

Marshal Ipvicus slowley raised himself of the deck and looked around. his bridge was a mess, wires and tubing hung from the ceiling and and bulkeds were crumpled under the massive strain from the Rebel attacks. He dragged himself across the broken remains of his command chair and activated his ships com system.
"Admiral Jimbob of the Rebel fleet, I urge you to take your surviving men and retreat form this system. Within the hour Admiral Ariels fleet based in Matar will arrive with 6 Cruiser Mk.IIs and a host of support ships... I beg of you, save the lives of your remaining men and leave this battle. Any attacks you make now will only doom your brave men."
