I am killing some bugs that bug me. I guess you will have to wait till AJ reads this. I am not sure on how far away we are but my testing is going well. I hope some time inthe next 100billion years we can finish it.

Hmm, I've got a KJV Bible here, but don't have any of the other versions in front of me... perhaps one of the horsies is New Republic. Any chance for a guy on a horse with arrows or a scale being in the plugin?

There were plans but they were scrapped in favor of a pack of rabid wombats. The four horsemen just don't strike the kind of terror into the hearts of the populace that they used to.
And to answer your question on a release date, May is pushing it a bit much. We're going to need at least a month of public testers going at it once the core of the game is done. That will probably start at the end of May (If we're lucky). So... July?
Nah. Screw it. I'll just say that NR should be released by the time I can afford a Twin Turbo Northstar and everything I need to plop it into my car.
And for those wondering, our current goal is to balance the ships to the point where the player doesn't have his ass handed to him by the Ve'Eache in every mission he/she flies against them. (You thought taking out one Alien Fighter was tough? Try flying around with 20 of them sticking to you like glue.)
