Heh, the Lair is the oldest site in the EV community (I'm not counting sites that haven't been updated in a year or so). Not to mention the largest, most popular, best, and coolest...

I need to get my butt in gear and get it updated, though. I've currently hit a snag between a new site look and new content (which is, in turn, being snagged by something else), but I'm aiming for completely updated Lair by March. It's taken me way to long, but that's life.

I'd have to agree EVula, your site is the coolest, but it will need an update sooner or l8er . . .

Hehe, yeah, I know. Right now, it is only a matter of shifting the domain to point from one webhost to the other... I've had a lot of stuff hit me real hard, which is why it isn't more recent than it is. However, the fact that I don't currently have FTP access to it kinda cramps my style... I'm hoping that it will be updated in the next few days (Network Solution's ways for fixing stuff like this is just plain stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid.)

Besides. If anyone who's ever played EV doesn't know who you are, then they're still playing 1.0.0 off of a borrowed MacAddict CD. I've run into friends who have never played EV, heard me mention it, and replied "Yah. I ran into some really big*** website called "The lair"or somethin like that. It's got a bunch of **** on that ******* mac game you're always talking about." It's just creepy. You should contact the public relations branch at Microsoft and ask them if they're looking for another evil hired goon to spread the name of their company.

Woohoo! I've had a similar thing happen: I once got on GameRanger, and had one person message me out of the blue, talking about how he used to play EV. Same session, I went to a different room and had a couple of people recognize me via the website. Life is good for 'ula.

Yeah, I was also planning for a Lair update in January/February... I've been having a few domain name problems lately -- once it resolves to the correct webhost, the toy can go live on that server, and I can update the site (I've got the update done, I just can't put it on the old host because I can't modify the .htaccess file on it). Thanks for asking, though.

I don't want LOTS of money, I just want ENOUGH money. I have enough money for my tastes. I try not to be too greedy (for the most part...).
