No, it doesn't. I'll concede that the Frigate is a viable ship, but the Corvette's speed wins over the Frigate's better protection and slightly superior firepower.

You know, I was thinking about this again the other day, and decided that if I'm your arch nemesis, being a competitive person, I should probably stomp on it.

I'd say that going by inherent merits, the two ships are fairly evenly matched, but the Corvette suits the style of most players better. There are, however, some people who are good at using firepower, shielding, and the like on slow ships, and if Rawzer is one of them, I won't dispute that.

Well, I'm more a behind the scenes person, but I actually know the former Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario. (or perhaps I should say "have known," as I haven't met him in a few years, but the point still stands, as he would recognise at least my name, if not me myself.) For that matter, I've also written to several MPs and gotten replies, and talked on the telephone to someone from CSIS (no, they weren't investigating me 
) and to one of the leaders of Apple's Quadra AV project.

i like the Kestrel. i want speed firepower protection and looks, the Kestrel fills all these slots. why not the others?
Corvette cool but has too little firepower not enough protection
frigate ugly as sin, is too slow and not enough firepower
Kestrel can be as fast and mobile as a stock 'vette and has those lightnings that i kill fleets of fighters or a frigate or a pirate Kestrel with and the #2 looking ship in the game(Rebel Cruiser is #1 as everyone knows).
and yes i do have the skill to handle any ship in the game i just dont like to make use of it. brute force is sooo much faster,example: time to kill 'fed frigate with shuttle vs. time to kill 'fed frigate with 'fed Cruiser,
shuttle = skill and 10 to 20 minutes
'fed Cruiser = bruite force and 10 to 20 seconds
have i made my point?

Yes, slightly. The Frigate can hold one extra turret and an extra cannon. That's slightly better. The Corvette has enough space to pack on a lot of secondaries itself, enough to get armament similar to the Frigate. The Corvette has enough power to demolish anything in the game, so beyond that it doesn't matter much.
