      Yeah, must you insult it? Hm...

      All this talk of B.net is making me consider buying Starcraft more and more. But that won't happen for a while, as two basketball sims that I've been waiting for for a long time are coming out next week. I'm not sure if I'll buy both of them.

      Yes, the Patriots are for real. Hope they can handle the Steelers if they get that far anyway. I'll be rooting for the 49ers (my original favorite team) before we get that far though.

      Wanna hear something funny as hell? One of my friends in school is bragging about his new Dell that he got for 1399, with a 56k modem and 2.2 ghz processor. That seemed to be the perfect time to bring up the new iMac. He then said that at least the Dell was affordable. This is when I mentioned the price, and the conversation ended. πŸ˜‰

      Heh. I've heard substantiated rumors that the next speed boost to the G4 Towers will put them up to 1.2 GHz (low end), 1.4 GHz (medium), and dual 1.6 GHz (surprisingly, high end). This has been found on some French retail site, I've heard. Sine they are already being advertised on a site, presumably they would be around soon. Of course, it is just a rumor...

Maybe I need to leak out a map or two from my campaign that I need to finish sometime soon. Level 5 is devilish - everyone who's played it so far agrees that it's much harder than any level of the same type by Blizzard (it's installation, where you have the floor traps and such).

      I haven't played AoE II, though I know a little about it. I can't really justify spending the money for it when I already have Starcraft, which is still the best RTS game according to at least some magazines I've seen.

      Well I must say that Age of Empires II may be the one of the best strategy games ever. One great bonus I at least enjoy is its historical base and accuracy, its quite fun to actually command in the famous battles of history. The variety of units and civilizations is quite expansive as well, and one of the little things I enjoy, is that the buildings are actually the right size! No more giant units next to tiny buildings they couldn't possibly fit into.

      Starcraft is good, but I find it to be a bit aging, now my particular game of choice is Civilization III, a threequel to, in myopinion, one of the best games in history. Along with EV, and Fallout.

      According to my USPS tracking number, starcraft was delivered today. Of course, it is nowhere to be seen. This has happened to us before... It looks like I won't be getting starcraft. And I'm out $20... sonofabitch...

      The package was not insured, so I think I am screwed. They did this to us before. I imagine the phone conversation would look something like:

      Me: I was expecting a package, and according to my tracking number, it arrived at my house. But it is not here.
      Them: Did you check by the door?
      Me: Yes.
      Them: Is it there?
      Me: No, or I would not be calling you.
      Them: Could it be in your house?
      Me: No. It did not arrive at all.
      Them: Are you sure?
      Me: Yes.
      Them: I don't see it anywhere around here. Was it insured?

      Yes, I played aoe one and thought it was good, then I got AoE two. I'm not very good yet as I haven't had much time to play. Great game though. And isn't it annoying when a scout dude steals your ship? That is when I wish you could strap bombs on them... πŸ˜‰

      I must say, I'm a bit envious of you all. I sit here on my 5 year old computer, 70 miles away from any place you can physically contact mac software and have no credit card so online shopping is a simple dream. I guess I'll just never get to play these games. My father has expressed interest in a new Imac, except it's not an immediate interest, meaning we'll never get one anyway. Well, it's obselete once it's on the shelf anyway, now isn't it? At least I have that one little thought to warm my poor, Imac free little soul :D.
