Rak, a battlecruiser and a cruiser would have done a helluva lot more damage than two destroyer M8s (which are less expensive than an alien heavy fighter) by the way. You underestimated your losses quite a bit, considering that battlecruisers have a LOT of shields and armor and I do believe that your fleets don't have any torpedoes left after those battles.

I know I'm supposed to hate aliens, but Rak is totally unfair in this one.
Rak, if you saw a vast horde of alien ships that outnumbered you 4 to one and you were actually there and could die, what would you do?
A)Run Away
B)Eat some Pizza
C)Say "I'll bet half of them aren't real, let's take time to make detailed scans on them and see"
D)Pet your kitty

Macavenger: Have you even read the posts by General Rak and Captain Carnotaur, not to mention the ones in the discussion thread? They totally defied tactics, stratagy and regard for the lives of their fleets. To all appearances they were facing four large and powerful fleets, and still they attacked Kyle's fleet, (which had more capital ships and a lot of firepower) totally anillated it in only two posts, one of which you yourself said was illegal. Answer me this: is it reasonable that two fleets with low ammunition, and low morale, would dicicivly engage a vastly numerical foe? Even if you only pay attention to the battle between Kyle's real ships, he had enough to do catastphic damage to the demoralized, hevilly damaged HC fleet, but ended up doing superficial damage to their capital ships. To add to this Rak hevily used 40 ships, plus repairs and munitions it was illegal for him to have. I dont mean to be insulting but if you dont void or hevilly moderate both of these posts it will be because of very blatant bias on your part.

Ok, I've completely lost rack of the Sentarus battle that everyone is complaining about. Skyblade, since you said you pay more attention to Sentarus posts, will you moderate that for me? I'll probably accept what you say there, unless there's something ridiculous, in your ruling, which I doubt. /continues to look for ways of delegating authority...
AS for the torps on subsequent captures - they rearm etc. at the captured system before continuing.

Partially, but I'm extremely confused after all this discussion, which is why I asked Skyblade to moderate it. He ran the original two, so he's perfectly qualified. I note in general however that Rak is probably considered the best tactician/strategician(sp?) here, so don't sell his posts short.

Hmmm would you do this even if your fleet's defeat would mean that your home galaxy would be totally unprotected against a massive (four large Alien fleets) invasion, that might lose the war for your government? (keep in mind that you have no knowlege of the Dreden Rebellion, or the military strength of the Alien Empire. Hell they might have 50 fleets of that size in backup for all you know.)

Ohh Carno, if you would run from one huge fleet, I am certin that you would run from four huge fleets.:PPut thats okay, I've put that behind me.And if you were suddenly unexpectedly pounced on a fleet much stronger and larger than yours, you would suffer many losses, not just minor.
