Presumably, you annilhated his entire fleet. I'm sure you know that all the alien fighters are vastly superior to yours and almost to par with each of your destroyers. Since both sides were damged greatly, i think you should lose a lot more and grundy should get some ships back. Once again take a look at the stats. 7 gunboats, which are equal to your thunderclaps, the carrier and heavy cruisers and destroyers still had firepower remaining, and the 21 fighters are vastly superior to yours. Your total losses were 3 destroyers, 5 slicers, and 5 crickets. Other than the fact that it takes around 5 crickets to match up to 1 interceptor, grundy lost all of his fighters.
Also, understand that my ships are still greatly engaged to yours, so you definitely would take more losses. You can't just engage one fleet while ignoring another. You definitely would not have killed his fleet with those pathetic losses. He had a good deal of ships left you know, I tried to make it as fair as possible in terms of losses in my post. Azdara, please edit your stats to be more fair as well.
Also, using an explosion as a cover wouldn't have prevented scanners from picking your ships up, far less grundy's fighters who were flying around anyway. The main points here are that I was heavily engaged to your fleet and you left that out of consideration and that grundy had plenty of ships left to fire back.
