I'd have no objection to the introduction of religion into the storyline of Escape Velocity if it actually contributed to the story the way it has in some notable plug-ins. I just don't think it should be put in without a good reason.

Perhaps the governments are enough, eh?
But perhaps religion would be a reason for revolts within a government. Like a cracking up of the Confederation or Rebellion. Hmm... Bah! I'm to lazy to make a plugin out of that.
