The main difference between b&b; and the EV board:
The EV board is a specialty board. It is designed solely for the discussion of the game Escape Velocity. banter & brawl is an open forum. It has no centralizing force like the game to keep it in line. Topics in b&b; can be about anything, whereas the same topic here would be either locked, or sent to b&b.; For this reason, as David Arthur said, the definitions of spam between these two boards are very different, out of necessity. For this reason alone, the differences between these two boards are great, not just because of the style of posting we b&bers; are used to, but the type of responses we are used to getting. In fact, the motto of b&b; could be "kick back". The motto here would be "don't kick in the first place". Big difference. Insanity is promoted on b&b.; And it's fun as hell. You have fun here also, but it's a different kind of fun.
You can't compare the two boards. I wish people would stop trying to figure out who's better. There is no better or worse. The word is different. The EV board and b&b; are day and night, and they were made to be that way. So this board feud is pointless.
And yes, I am saying as such in b&b; right now. In fact, I will repeat this post verbatim there. I prefer b&b;, but I won't allow this to descend into a board war just because of what I think about the two places. That should also be in everyone's mind. We're all on the same side, aren't we?
