The summer before last, I discovered the EV webboard. I went as slim4895, and found myself biking to the library to check the board literally 2 to 3 times a day. The library was a half hour away.

I knew I had a problem when the librarian had to put up a sign limiting people to one thirty minute internet session a day. I finally stopped going to the boards and have since recovered completly.

How do you know if you're addicted to the EV Webboard?

1. Whenever you get into an argument with someone, your hand reaches for the reply button.

2. You say your user name and password in your sleep.

3. Visions of Hector in a Rapier lull you to sleep.

4. You turn your head sideways every time you smile at someone.

Be careful, and have good EV mental health!

I actually thought in my mind to hit the reply button when my mom asked me if I had homework. It'd happened a few times. I even try to type the air to death. I type way to fast and it has become too fluant.

I also dreamed I was in a Rebel Dreadnaught (from Adam's Shipyard) and met my girlfriend on board. (My g/f right now.)

Someone tried to outpost him, and when they did, they started bragging about it (if I remember my webboard lore), and Andrew reset their post count and added 10,000 to his to ward off people trying to beat him.

I think I have 500 or 800 others from other accounts... and I have no idea how many I had on the EV and EVO board from the (url="http://"http://www.escapevelocity.com")www.escapevelocity.com(/url) days.

I never really cared about post count.... so all mine are legit, chopped full of wholesome conservative values and liberal/clinton/democrat bashing
