Anyone here play Exobattle? Y'know, that game that... umm... Matt or did Andrew... made. Anyway, I think it's really cool and I hope it will be pursued as a full-version game.

And where's that page of Matt's or Andrew's that has that game on it. And if the other person (Matt or Andrew) also has his own little page here, please let me know. Thanks.

Matt Burch did it. His site is (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/~mburch/")here,(/url) while the ExoBattle site is (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/~mburch/exobattle/")here.(/url) He only did it as a test, it will not be released as a full-version game. However, he has released the source code for it, so feel free to learn how to program and take it from there.

And just to add to that, the ships in Exobattle aren't actually Mantas, they just look like Mantas because Matt didn't feel like designing a new ship for an open-source learning tool. They have a unique mass cannon, and I believe they carry more missiles than a Manta, not to mention more shields.

That thread, at least in my opinion, was over. The definition had been given multiple times, and it was becoming rather redundant. Nothing productive was being said.

While I don't know the specifics of this situation, most T1s are at companies and universities and such, where the connection is being shared by a large number of computers. In contrast, you're the only person using your DSL connection, so it's quite likely to give you better performance even though it's a smaller pipe.

Well, I did have a couple more comments to make about the physics of gravity...

I've been wondering a bit about the sudden increase in moderation EVula, mostly just out of curiosity. Looking down page one, I'm seeing 12 locked topics, which would be a bit high even for the Nova board. I'll certainly grant that some of them needed it, but not all of them. Just my proverbial 2 cents.

I have noticed a lot more moderating, too. Not neccasarily (sp?) a bad thing... It started after Soviet Mikee went off when two people had some post-count war or something. I don't think that this board has a real spam problem.

EVula, yeah that post was getting redundant, but it did not really need to be locked. At least, not in my opinion. People were starting to notice it was getting redundant and pointless, and it would either start getting interesting or just die out on its own.
