You cannot buy/sell the Lightning Bay, nor can you buy/sell the Manta Bay. They are only available through the Kestrel and Rebel Cruiser respectively.

I wish I knew how to use RES edit. I've always wanted to try the shuttle has confed cruiser bay, confed cruiser has Kestrel bay, Kestrel has rebel cruiser bay, rebel cruiser has shuttle bay.

Learn how to use ResEdit? It requires nearly no learning. I am amazed at the number of people who cannot (or just will not) use it. But then again, I was afraid of it at one time, too...

Me too. I was confused by all the resource spoons, national flags, and CookieBits too. Then I discovered I was reading my manual upside down. It all became much clearer after that.

Most people could learn ResEdit, but they don;t want to because it's long and tiring. Which, as wqe admit, it is. But after you get used to that steady hum of machinery and after you figure out that it's a resource fork , the flags have nothing to do with nationalities, and that the Visbits are comprised of lines and lines of proggaming code (as opposed to Oreo's™), it all fits itself together and you actually start to enjoy it.

Seriously, it's not nearly as hard compared to C++, or even C. Just suck it up and (url="http://"http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/English-North_American/Macintosh/Utilities/ResEdit_2.1.3.sea.bin")download it.(/url)

Get Galactic Scourge. Manta Bays are available at the same time as the fighters, and are relatively small and cheap for fighter bays. Maximum bays per ship is 4, I believe, with a maximum of 6 Manta Light Fighters. Lightning bays are available on more upscale pirate planets (ie., Evildrome), and VERY upscale independant planets I believe. Maximum is 2 bays per ship for quick launching, and maximum amount of Lightning F/B's is 4. Very fun indeed And for you Confed fans, there is a maximum of 4-5 patrol ships bays,and a maximum of about twelve Patrol Ships, I believe. Also, a maximum of 3 Gunboat bays, and max 5 Gunboats. There is also an extra Confederate fighter called the Patrol Boat, speed and shields equal to a Gunboat, 2 swivel Proton Cannons, 5 torpedo launchers (factory-installed, cannot be replaced if removed), and a PT Boat Dock to go with it. Resedit is the easiest hacking program in existance (aside from EVedit, which is too damn crashy) My ass could learn Resedit. I leared how to hack (url="http://"http://damnsw.net/~macgp/Pikeman/pikepics/hacksnap.jpg")these(/url) in less than half an hour. Easy.
