You need to stop. There is a Banter and Brawl forum for discussing off topic material. If you want to post in the bars, that's not too big a deal. However, I need you all to stop the complete spam I've seen posted.. some of you know exactly what I am talking about too.

I'm not real restrictive. Boards with too many rules are no fun. However, boards with no rules filled with flame topics and spam sucks too. I'd like everyone to stick around and have some fun on the boards -feeling free to post whatever, but spamming just isn't allowed.

I'm pretty relaxed on moderating, but if I see anyone just spamming for the sake of spamming for post count.... your post count can be reset, or simply stopped altogether.

Yep. But we (I) wasn't doing it to raise my count by spamming, I was just up late and wasn't thinking correctly. But it's still no excuse for spamming your wonderful board.

.. and just to add to that, do we really need to have this many bars and such? The whole Role playing idea is starting to get out of hand I think.. especially condsidering there are websites and other boards dedicated just to that..

Actually, mikee, I don't think that the Banter and Brawl would be quite welcoming to posters from here.

Any bars posted there die quickly, and the EV Webboard regulars would be flamed as "n00bs" by Anatole or someone.

This board would be nothing without Bars and Webstories, same with the EVO Board. It would just be polls, over and over again, the same ones. We already have enough of that problem here.

Yeah, sorry about all that, fatigue and boredom can sometimes combine to make some less than interesting things appear. You can zero my post count if you'd like to, raising it wasn't what I set out to do that day anyways.

If you don't like it here, then leave. The Mod's aren't trying to spam or post off topic posts, with out the users they wouldn't have any "power" anyway.

I'm in complete agreement. I've seen a pick up of quite unnecessary topics lately, a couple in which needed deleting right away. The Banter and Brawl does tend to tolerate such topics, but even that forum has its limits.

My advise? Anyone who wishes to spam or flame someone else, do it via e-mail where the regular posters and visitors don't have to bothering reading such junk. Believe me, a forum full of spam doesn't exactly send out a "welcome" message to new-comers...

Indeed, Rogan does have 14 karma, as opposed to DA's 13, but I didn't put him on the list due to his karma, I put him on there because I have seen him be incredibly helpful numerous times, and I have a lot of respect for him as such. I have no idea who Rogan is.

As for DA's karma being lower, I can change that.
