It might, at that, though the carbonation tends to be our main weapon, the stuff we shoot at enemies isn't fit for drinking. But pure Coke could be highly corrosive to rje ships, I'll have to test that.

Commodore Pickerel arrives suddenly in the Clotho system, suprising the small Dr. Pepper guard ships supervising the shipments from the soda mines there. With quick and decisive action the small force of ships present in the system are eliminated by a vastly superior Pepsi fleet. But, instead of attempting to seize the planet via a defeat of the defense fleets, the Commodore flees to an outer asteroid belt, where she proceeds to begin laying down Pepsi mines all over the local hyper jump points.

As soon as an adequate number are in place, and before the defence fleets can make their way to the ships, the Pepsi fleets disappear. But whats more, when the Dr. Pepper survivors begin attempting to disable or destroy the mines, they find that they are unable, as the strange new mines begin to transport, via the new Pepsi technology, quite a few ships are lost due to this strange and random tactic. It soon becomes clear that the Clotho system is under an effective shipless blockade. Suddenly, another Pepsi fleet is spotted on the outskirts of the Palshife system...

Macavenger rushes his Coke fleet back to the Palshife system, having already signed the treaty, and engages Zen's fleet with Sprite bombs and Vanilla streams at point blank range. rje ships begin exploding in clouds of carbonation. Among Mac's fleet, the superior technology Sprite/Cherry shields mostly hold.

Zen's fleet, taken by surprise, is unable to plant any mines.

Spacey leaves a note on the entryway to the Alliance Board of Director's Room that says: If you want to sign the treaty, do as Mac did

Spacey then runs as fast as he can out of the oceanic retreat, knocking over some people, and follows Mac to the system of Satori. (MAc actually put Plashife, but the system is Satori. :D) Spacey then notices the Zen fleet... whoever they are. Spacey then engages in combat along side of Mac.

Though unable to strategically place any mines, Commodore Pickerel orders the mine carriers to begin spewing mines at random, the mines immediately sensing combat begin transporting about randomly, (They dont explode against RJE ships, were not that stupid)

Fighting a retreating action the Pepsi fleet begins sending out distress signals to any nearby Pepsi commanders willing to lend a hand. The Pepsi mines begin to wreak havoc as they detonate amongst the confusing mass of ships.

Shade scrawls his name on the sheet,then runs to the RIM service to contact his fleets.
"All ships are to move to repel a hostile fleet in the Palshife system!Bring No.8 fencing wire to repair damage afterwards!"
Then he runs to the Fanta Shuttle,which ferrys him back to the Blue Suede Cat.

Shade activates the Fanta Drives while still underwater,causing the deaths of thousands of primitive blob-like aquatic critters who were happily going on with their lives,sucking mud for nutrients and inventing the Triple-K'Waanged Sproingle theory of space-time,but as Shade was in a hurry to save Freedom,he didn't much care.

The Fanta WarFleets sent from Fanta Command arrived in Palshife at the same time as the Blue Suede Cat.
The Passionfruit Dreadnaught settled into Battle Formation # 126A,otherwise known as "That one which looks a bit like when you shake a Fanta can,you know,and all the froth comes out when you pull the tab?Except with more Lava Lamps."
The avenging Fanta warriors circled Satori,coming up behind the rje fleet to launch volleys of Lime Torpedos and Rasberry Drones.

Well, that's not me. It's more important for me to stay in Sol and defend it. After all, Lyra is supposed to be attacking very soon. But I can help a little.

Insano takes a massive holographic projector and puts it on the transporter array. He then beams it to the Satori system, on the far outskirts and out of visual range of any ships. It projects a fleet twice the size of any previously built, and slowly starts flying towards the Palshife defense fleet. Remember, you don't know this is a hologram.

Jimbob's fleet jumps into the system, and begins an attack against the Alliance. He sends his fighters to begin attacking the Fantas, and the 24 packs begin firing Roach Juice Torps at the Dreadnaughts and Lime Cruisers. Jimbob flys over and prepares for battle with the Blue Suede Cat

The Rasberry Drones easily outmaneuver their fighter counterparts,as they don't have to worry about G-forces.
Flitting in and out,the Drones quickly destroy the enemy fighters in hails of Multi-Flavour Fanta Fusion(MFFF).
The Lime Cruisers launch Lime Torpedos at the enemy capitol ships,battering at their shields in blasts of deadly carbonation.
The Orange Cruisers use their Fanta Micro-Drives to make tiny hyperspace jumps to the enemy fleet,launching barrages of Orange Heavy Torpedos at the capitol ships from short range,as their MFFF Turrets blast away.
The sole prototype of the Blueberry Frigate(More are being constructed on Fanta Command,BTW)
Uses it's fast in-system drives to make hit-and-run attacks on enemy destroyer-class vessels,ripping apart their shields with it's Wildberry Beam.
The Pineapple Carriers launch their Rasberry Drones,sending the Drones against the swarm of enemy capitol ships.
In the midst of it all the Blue Suede Cat turns towards Jimbob's flagship,activating it's huge amounts of MFFF Turrets(It's a Passionfruit Dreadnaught,after all).
As soon as the enemy flagship is in range,the Blue Suede Cat launches salvos of turreted Passionfruit rockets,hammering at Jimbob's shields.

Mac, using the old naval tactic of crossing the T, cuts across behind Jimbob and delivers a full broadside against minimal return fire. Jimbob's fleet is quickly mangled badly by the collapsing jaws of Shade's and Mac's fleets. Vanilla fighters zip around and hammer any rj interceptors, and the bigger ships mercilessly fire 2-liter Coke Classic bombs at larger rj ships.

However, Mac got a good scan of the rje ships before they left, and quickly managed to build a jammer which made the mines think the Alliance ships were rje ships. With no enemies, the mines stop transporting and arte quickly destroyed.

Do I at least get a few mine related casualties? The small Pepsi fighters hiding in amongst the holographic and fully interactive fleet sent by Insano are far too small and fast for the Alliance scanners to get a good lock on them, and as a consequence, when the fleet of ghost ships begins to move amongst the Alliance ships still present, small numbers of Alliance fighters begin to disappear.
