Mac: The prices are obviously much lower than I expected. My primary is reasonably powerful, but not devastating. It's fair against both armor and shields. The LRBM is a maneuverable torpedo. The propulsion mine is an extremely powerful missile, slow but packs a punch (30-35 shields). The HNR (90-110 shields) is incredibly powerful, and big. Ships have at most 8-10.
That should be it.

Of course, it doesn't worry me as much any more, now that I realize you can't have more than 10 of them per fleet with which to start with the new fleet building rules, and you still have to come up with something to counter HALO Missiles and Particle Beams.

Besides which, the HC shipyard has been reformatted a bit, including that new ship I added last night.
Shade - i don't see a problem with omni-directional weapons, as long as you're willing to pay for them. Depending on the weapon, that might not be too much of a burden. Just remember that you do still have the best anti-fighter weapon and ship in the game, so don't worry too much. Except about the Particle beams, of course. Fear them.
Asriel, you are planning on letting us know what the (censored) is before you try to buy one, correct?

Mac-the omni-directional thingy was to be a thingy for missile defence for my cruisers & stuff against HALOs,but then I realised that HALOs are an anti-fighter weapon.

BattleFortress (spl knows the name)
Shields: 25,000
Armor: 15,000
Speed: 150
Accel: Terrible
Turning: •
300 tri-photon turrets, 250 LRBM launchers and 1500 LRBMs, 20 HNR launchers and 140 HNRs, 200 fighters of player's choice
Fuel: 1500
Price: $135 million (at least, probably more)
I changed it a bit from spl's original design, adding LRBMs and taking away HNRs, as well as reducing the speed.
