      I hate florida so very, very much. 5 minutes after I leave the house, it starts raining. :rolleyes:

      Those of Jude's are exactly what I am looking for. I am confused, though... There is a person named Clare Krauss who's website has almost the exact same layout, text, and very similar landing graphics. I wonder if they are using the same website template or something.

      Ok, I am off to work on landing graphics.

      (edit) Upon further investigation. Judy links to Clare's site. They must be freinds or colleagues.

      (edit 2) Upon even further investigation, they also share a last name. Sisters, perhaps?

      That's weird. Perhaps Jude does have a sister. In case you didn't know, Jude was once a moderator of this forum as well as the Override one. She was good one, too...

      Yeah, many people are gifted with the ability to do math well beyond their grades, but the concepts are what counts. If you've got that down, way to go. Congrats with the record. I too currently average that.

      Out of curiosity, how old are you? I'm guessing around fifteen or possibly sixteen...

      I think I still remember most of it, the basic concepts really aren't that hard. 😉 One of my pastimes when I have nothing else to do is actually inventing ciphers of oddball types. My best one uses hexcidecimal bases and random numbers and such. I might try to figure out a way of incorporating some Algebra or trig into the next one if I make another, could be fun.

      On the age, let's say I give you three guesses retroactive to the two you've had, and the first and third don't count. 😉

      I about have the landing graphics straightened out. And I have made a command decision. Because all the government and landings are so different, I am going to go ahead and change all of the planet descs as well. I will probably change all of the ship descs, and maybe ship graphics... This is probably going to end up being a total conversion, not just some ships and some governments. To play a game where every little thing is different, and you have plenty of new things to explore and experience for the first time is a step above just adding a few things.

      His profile says Chatanooga (misspelled) Tenesee. I wasn't sure if that was true or if he was kidding. Not that there is anything wrong with Tenesee.

      I'm one of those "visualizing" types. It'll come to me as I write...of course, that never worked with my essays 😛 JK...yes, actually. I'll be able to write a whompin bunch o' missions. Just remember, make sure you know what order we do missions in, so we don't mix up the mission bits and ID numbers.

      I'm in Eastern Standard Time. Chattanooga is located in extreme southeast Tennessee, so the Central Standard Time border is about thirty minutes from where I live...

      We each will have to make a certain number of missions for our governments. I will figure out all the ID#s and the other technilcalities later on. Because this plugin will be based around 2 main mission strings, it should be fairly easy to accomplish this. Other than a few standard cargo missions for the mission computer, we will only have 2 mission strings.

      I am working on rewriting planet descs and later I will do the ships.

      Hey skyblade, does ev have an IRC channel? There used to be a #ev, but it is gone (or moved), and #ev3 isn't run by EVers, and it is more nova-based than original EV. Does ev specifically have it's own IRC channel, in which we could converse real-time instead of posting and waiting, and posting and waiting... or is there nothing but #ev3? Or I know a server where I could create us a channel, without needing eggdrops or anything like that.

      Yes, I was online, but someone challenged me to play them in a game of Ares at GameRanger, Ishiman against Ishiman (which kept me idle here for awhile). I killed him, inflicting 19 losses and receiving 4 losses. 😉 Hehe...

      Hey, Skyblade, what is your ares tactic? I sometimes go with all cruisers, or all destroyers. I lost a lot, so I stopped playing. A lot of people hold down hyper jump or whatever it is called in ares, and shoot as they fly past. That is so annoying and cowardly that a few people doing it convinced me to leave gameranger.

      In my time on gameranger playing ares, I discovered a way to manipulate your kills/losses. Resedit + ares prefs... 😄 I never got it to work too well, but it was fun to make it say things like "kills: -1328912 losses: -24421278"
