ares - your original question confused me. You said novels taking place in games. Stand alone novels written by a single person aren't what I was thinking of.

Ah, yes, Dash Riprock. It's been quite a while since I've thought of that story, although I must say that it got a little odd once he joined the Rebellion and his seemingly sentient ship became one of the main characters.

Yeah, but I don't remember the DR ending being the way it is. I remember something about an elevator shaft or something... plus, my not-very-reliable-but-sometimes-right memory tells me that there were 15, not 13. shrug Once I get Sparks' email, it'll make this a moot point.

Oh, thank god. I remember the elevator shaft and a puddle of chemically tainted water underneath, into which Dash was pressed by the elevator. I thought I was just having memory problems, too, when I reread the first 13 and didn't find that. I know that there was more than 13, and that it was never finished. We should try to contact sparks....
