3. Reason for Name: At basketball camp last summer, everyone started calling me Jimbob. I forget why, too. Weird, huh?
4. When i first found out about EV: On A Software of the Month Club cd in 1998. Sadly, I didn't start playing until this July. Now, I'm addicted.

I'm Mazca (formed by taking my first name, Max, and generally screwing with it and adding an a). I hang around the EV boards (but not the Nova or B& ,especially the Developer's Corner for some reason (Oh yes, I moderate it :)). Found out about EV: Can't remember. but it was version 1.0.1 I think.

Signification of presence: ( Signification? Hmm. To borrow a phrase from "The Princess Bride," I don't think that word means what you think it means. But what the hey!) The EV and EV Chronicles boards, mostly. EV Developers' Board occasionally, and EV Override Board hardly at all. Used to hang out on B & B, but that was then.
Name on ASW Board: Phil Barron. Used to be PlanetPhil (see below).
Reason for Name: My mother gave it to me. And I don't feel much like a planet these days.
Where you first found out about EV: Via ZDNet's (url="http://"http://www.zdnet.com/mac/download.html")MacDownload(/url) site, probably in early '98. I was just looking for a space game to play. Who knew?

Interesting. I was reading through the book of Joshua today, and I ran over the name "Asriel." He was a descendent of Manassah, a tribe of Israel in about 5 B.C...

Reason for Name: Well, I didn't want to change after I first registered on these, so I stuck to it. Original derivation is a long story...I used to be known simply as me (Mike Lee) on the old boards...
Where you first found out about EV: My brother downloaded it while hunting for cool games (I had only played Maelstrom previously out of the Ambrosia games though).

It was actually EV:Override that I found on the CD, but I converted to an EV fan once I figured out how to get that from the internet
