Entusiastic about his tremendous jump in rank from trainee to full Commodore, Ramon Zaff wanders about the bridge drawing salutes from men twice or thrice his age. He chalks down his sudden good fortune to the tremendous expansion going on within the fleet, and he did have a good feeling when he'd completed those placement exams a month or so back... but still. Commodore Zaff glances about the bridge attempting to identify the other senior Naval officers aboard... when a marshal commands a ship, where do the Admirals and Captains go?

He patiently waits by for Marshal Luke to recieve the signal from the probe and an update on location for his command ship.

The BattleStar entered the NGC-1019 system seconds after the alien fleet left. A sudden gasp was let out by the crew on the deck. Inside the sytem was another space-time rip, but this one was... active. And some biiiiig ships had just left the sytem, according to some sensors. A messenger was sent to alert Luke.
"Come with me, Zaff," said the messenger as he left.

Zaff wandered off his pacing path to follow the messenger to wherever it was this intriguing situation would lead. It was better then studying glactic history reports and walking back and forth repeatedly.

Luke was pleased to see Zaff arrive, but he wasn't looking forward to telling him the story he had just received from the FBGI before they entered the NGC-1019 system.

"Zaff, I'll be blunt. You're not who you think you are. You were born in another galaxy. Your parents were explorers; they were kidnapped (we now know they were kidnapped by these strange reddish creatures) and taken to a different portion of the Virgo supercluster of galaxies soon before you were born. They died sending you back to our galaxy. Oh, and I need you to look at these readings..."

Fleet Amdiral Jimbob had heard the buzz going around about the aliens. Then it hit him. What if he could establish a trading route with the aliens? He ordered his fleet to drop of the supplies at Earth, and wait for him to come back. Finding information about this was what he needed to do if he wanted to do it.

Zaff stood quietly as Luke delivered the news. "Where did he get this from?" "Can I trust him" and "What does it all mean" were a few of the more prominent questions racing about his mind at the moment, and he didn't have a great amount of success when he tried to say them all at the same time. He eventually just shut his mouth and hoped Marshal Luke understood.

The aliens entered NGC-1776. The SDF had been expecting this, and so waited calmly for the aliens to make a move...

...and they did. The aliens hailed Liberty Station.

Admiral Asriel spoke. "There has been a pirate fleet following us. You should be ready for when they ent--" The commlink was cut as the pirates entered the system. There were five Kestrels, ten Corvettes, and ten rapiers.

Liberty Station began launching their defense fleet, but the battle was over almost before it started. In a flurry of seeker drones and fusion beams, the aliens had destroyed most of the pirates without losing nothing. To the pirates, it had looked like there was the Behemoth, the Gorgon, and four freighters. Before the Gorgon launched its current complement of ten fighters, that is.

The defense fleet and aliens cleaned up the rest of the pirates, and the aliens waited...

The early warning sensory grid on Liberty Station, lit up. Automaticly, all weapons were warmed up, and trained on the Goliath. If she made any agressive move, a hail of extremely concentrated fire would destroy the ship....

the goliath disappeared from view. the humans were surprised.confused. the computers on liberty station lost tracking then, the goliath appeared again. in the half second the turrets locked on, a beam of red light emerged from the goliath.
it was headed toward the stations power generator...

"Well, I always did want to be a fighter pilot..." Zaff remarked, though he quickly added "but anything to better serve the Imperial Navy" as Marshal Luke's eyes tightened. "How could we possibly get me through enemy lines and insert me under circumstances that the aliens would believe? They don't exactly look like us do they?"

Doubts aside, Ramon was looking forward to adventure, even if it wasn't in space engaging enemy ships with his laser cannons, a bit of espionage and subterfuge never hurt anyone. Well, maybe a few people, but they don't count.

The 6th fleet hypered into NGC-1776, finding a massive Alien battlefleet attacking Liberty Station. As the fleet was firing it's weapons at Liberty Station, the 6th fleet armed the space bombs. They targeted the Goliath, and blew fifty space bombs up his a**. The Goliath exploded, destroying the entire Alien battlefleet.
