Hi
I have not been active for a while, so my apologies if this topic has been gone over many times. FAQ did not answer it.
My EV (version 1.05) crashes each time I land on New Antigua (NOC 1027/Pirates). Memory is set at 27MB but I also tried 20 MB. Since I have to land there to continue I would appreciate some tips.
Any ideas??? Thanks.

What mission are you trying to complete? And tell us if you're playing a plug, or stock EV.

How stupid of me, should have mentioned this... I am playing "Empire" at the moment. The mission is "Calanar campaign I". I also just noticed that now, after these repeated crashes, the game starts after initial loading with a random ship assigned to my pilot....

It's probably nothing you've done. When plugs have crashed on me in similar fashion, it's usually been due to problems in the plug's düde resource. The plug's creator, Tim Isles, frequents this board and may well see your post. Also, try bumping the memory up more. I usually run it at 40-50 megs even with no plugs in.

I use 30 usually. I had to jack it way up for New Horizons to run quickly, though. 
Where'd you get that new karma?
