Hey. I'm looking for a plug that does nothing except extend the mission strings. If there are none that does this, then one that extends the rebel mission string. Any info would help, thanks.

I've done some work on one to greatly extend the Alien strings from both sides. If i finish that, I'll let you know. Clueless may do some graphics for me on it while he's being Alien shipbuilder. We've discussed it briefly.

I don't believe that any plugs only expand existing mission strings. It would make the plug boring.However, Final Battle 4.1 is a very good plug-in. It adds quite a few well crafted new ships, not to mention it ends the rebel - confed conflict.

So are you saying a lug that would extend the mission strings to the point that you could invade the Alien galaxy would be boring?
My plug will quite possibly be going that far from both the Confederate and Rebel view. It'll at least get as far as forcing them back out of the serpens nebula at the only entry point from their galaxy, and probably farther.

The reason I'm asking this is becasue I want to be able to use Magma with the plug. If it's a total conversion, magma won't work. But if it just extends the strings, it should.

Well, if that's the case, you're going to have one funny looking ship with mine, because it adds an Alien Freighter.

Depends on the quality, but quite repetive and status-quo. It is a very common topic, and holds very little interest for most people with much plug-in experience. Of course, if you can make it something unique and interesting, well that's another story.

If you want to see some good Alien ships, just play Empire 3 for awhile. They show up eventually.
Insano, there is a TC that Meowx did (Quantumire Trilogy) that incorporates a lot of the stuff in Magma. I don't know if you've played it, but it's really good.
