Ahem, note that Macavenger is drunk, and just because he smacked you on the head and started challenging other people, that doesn't make the battle over. Feel free to continue. You'll notice I never claimed you were knocked out or even on the floor. Although, you might need to switch hands.

It's a series of books which originally aired as radio programs on the BBC. Douglas Adams has written the radio and TV programs, and converted them into a series of books. It's a comedy type thing, and all the books contradict each other as well as themselves. There is a fair amount of information in (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum6/HTML/001630.html#")this thread(/url), I believe. I recommend you post any further questions there, as David Arthur has been posting about it there, and is probably the most knowledgeable person about the HHGTTG(and everything else too :rolleyes: ) on the boards.

Okay, okay since the battle isn't over RC presses a botton on the spoon and it shot out poisonous gas but ofer the centurys it had little affect.

Insano takes a special throwing spoon. It looks like those spoons from taco bell with the prongs on the front, but metal. He opens his jacket where he has many of these. He then starts to throw them at everyone in the arena until they are in extreme pain.

Note: I said in extreme pain, and the fight isn't over. And HHGTTG is very funny.

Thanks alot insano you stabed me in the a**! Now how am I supposed to run!

Macavenger wobbles over to Insano and starts beating him wiht the Tritanium spoon. "WHAT are you thinkin'? We never said you could THROW the spoons!" Insano's poor close up skills begin to take their toll and he starts getting mauled, especially since his spoons are mere metal, and Macavenger's is Tritanium.

The battle rages.

Luke yells "STOP!" Everyone freezes. RC is biting Macavenger's leg and stabbing Insano with a sharp spoon. Insano is punching RC in the face and sticking a spoon down Macavenger's throat. Macavenger is twisting Insano's arm off and sitting on RC. "You better settle down, guys," Luke advises.

Macavenger bashes his spoon across Insano's hand, which has many fingers broken from punching RC in the face. He then steps on RC to keep him out of the fight for a while, and advances on Luke with his Tritanium spoon.
Continuing conversationally as he advances, he says, "You know, I started reading HHGTTG today, and it's really great." Swings and misses as Luke ducks. "I like the part where the nuclear missile gets turned into a sperm whale. Wish I could do that to 'Fed Patrol ships next time they're after me." Macavenger pauses in thought for a moment, and Luke gasps, winded from dodging. "That would be really fun, engage my improbablity drive and get to listen to what they think as they fall to the planet. Cool." He looks back down at Luke, and starts hammering at him with the spoon agai. "Hey, no hard feelings, right man?"

Insano goes to the local galactic hospital so he can be healed. When asked how it happened, Insano stupidly tells the truth. Now, everyone involved in the fight is being charged very large fines and they are trying to shut down the bar. But, none of these things will happen if we do something about it, will they?

Ambrosia still isn't letting me register. How much longer? I e-mailed them and have gotten no response. I've learned not to expect responses from companies, oh well...

Macavenger, still drunk in the bar and unaware of anything happening outside, continues swinging his spoon drunkenly at Luke, while Luke ducks and searches for as spoon to defend himself with.

We don't know. Unregistered users can start topics in the Help on the Way board, and Ambrosia Tech Support (David Dunham) monitors it I think, so you could ask there, but I wouldn't be surprised if you just get an ASAP type answer. Still, it might be worth a shot.

As the confed officers trying to shut down the bar walk in, Insano starts to throw his special spoons at them. He calls for the others to join in.

Ok, need help again. I finally got out of my clipper and into a rapier. I figure that I'd rather be doing missions for the rebels in a rapier than a clipper. I just did the mission where I get the cloaking device. If I get a corvette, will I get to keep my cloaking device? And, if not, will I be able to buy one?

Macavenger, seeing hated Confederates entering the bar, immediately sobers up and pockets his spoon, whipping out a blaster and comlink. He begins shooting at the Confeds, and yells into the comlink for his security detail. As the Confeds realize someone has a weapon and start trying to fire back, Macavenger ducks behind the bar for cover. Conviently there are some empty bottles there, so he breaks a couple and tosses them out to Insano, since those will be more effective than spoons, and he figures RC and Luke wouldn't be caught dead in a wild bar like this unarmed. And of course, he continues shooting at the Confeds from cover.

You will keep the Cloaking Device. Likewise for the tractor Beam when you get it.

Insano now throws the bottles. Eventually, one of hte confeds gets hit on the head and goes unconcious. Hopefully, Luke and RC will do som'n now. hint, hint.

Just wondering, but do you guys mind my asking for help in this thread?

You mean kill him? Or mug him? Or both?

RC, they're trying to close down the bar, and now that we're fighting that, they're trying to kill us, so doing something would be good. However, at this point, I've got it covered.

As the Confederates are preparing to storm around the bar to get to Macavengers position, the security detail from the S.S. Starfire arrives and opens fire on the Confederates from behind. though there are still more Confeds, they are rather surprised Confeds, and also pinned down in a crossfire, so they quickly get vaped. The security groups go back to Macavenger's ship, and he starts passing out some Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters from behind the bar to celebrate the victory over the Confeds, and the continued operation of the bar.

Everyone celebrates and is happy. Insano invents a new game to replace darts. Spoons. Take a dart board and use spoons instead!

Luke taps the shoulder of a Confederate officer who is shooting at Macavenger.
"Eh, excuse me sir, but I think I saw Greenbeard the Pirate and some Rebel marines stealing your Gunship."
As the officer whips around to see Greenbeard, Luke bangs him on the head with a pot, and proceeds to do the same with all of the Confederates, because being Confederates, they are all incredibally slow-witted . The bar now free of 'Feds, everyone starts getting drunk again.
