Me? I make a pass at a ship and just a second or two before I pass over the ship, I release the bomb and hit afterburners. The other ship takes a good amount of damage since it is between me and the bomb. Launch two bombs in quick succession at a Kestral and then hit it with your guns on the same pass, and you can sometimes steal the Kestrals fighters.

Wonderful use of space bombs is to park right over a planet you are going to challenge, release a bomb, retreat to a safe distance, demand tribute and sit back and watch the fun.

Capt. Editor used the space bomb graphic for a ship. Every time you got hit you would get sent to the other side of the map. :eek:

Yeah, they had a mass of like one. it was funny cuz evry time a missile hit you you'de go flying across the map.

Space bombs are useless in the southern parts of the EV universe where the asteroid field is.. The asteroids can take a larger punch than a mother****ing Alien Cruiser... Arrgghh..

In my opinion, space bombs are a novelty item. Fun, neat, and (in some cases) useful, though not practical enough for myself.
