That's an impossible question. You can't say which country defeated Germany because there were so many battles. If Russia had been beaten, or hadn't become involved in the war, would America have arrived too late to prevent the nazis taking Europe? If Britain hadn't won in North Africa, would Germany have expanded down into Africa and established a stronghold there? If America never had got involved, would Britain have held out?
The answer; everyone (in reguard to the allies) had a hand in beating the germans. To say that one country alone defeated the germans would be severely unfair to the other countries.
