I remember a long time ago when I hadn't yet beaten Escape Velocity. I remember that the first time i encountered the alien fighter on teh scouting mission it killed me. When i ran into the cruiser along with three fighters a month went down the drain in failure. How do you kill these little red EDITED FOR CONTENT :D? You can almost consider this sort of a survey as to how you all took down those EV ships that you just couldn't beat. It doesn't have to be the alien cruiser (which i actually found easier :rolleyes:_ or fighter. It can be any ship that you hated (Yes even Cap'n Hector, that happy little rapier that attacked and killed you in the earlier versions if you hadn't registered)
I will let you in on a secret myself: the tractor beam. Using my rebel cruiser, I began to focus on the alien fighters and cruiser. It would slow them enough so that i could match their speed. I would then begin to pound them. The fighters shields were so poewrful that anything else would be unaffective because they would fly away far enough so that they had all the time in the world to regenerate. Anyway, now that I had them in my tractor beam, i just pounded them until they were dead. Easy huh?
