    • How to conquer a planet?

Hi!!! I really don`t know what to do to conquere a planet I have 3 mantas and it is impossible to get more powerfull scores. Can somebody help me?

    • Okay. First help is "Read your documentation." (De nada.) Really though, the documentation DOES cover this and it is well presented.

Second, I have a clarifying question: When you hail the planet and demand tribute, don't they send out the defense fleet? (If not, something I don't understand is the problem.)

To even get the chance to take on a planet's defense fleet, you must have worked your way up to a combat rating of 'Deadly.' If your combat rating is lower than that, the planet basically says "Go away, kid" if you challenge it.

    • Deadly or Ultimate. You can get more escorts using certain plugins for zero credits or really cheap at the least. Get the Alien plug the orginal. Get the Alien Cruiser. Land on the planet, buy one, get off. Repeat till there aren't any more Alien fighters that you can release out of your bay. Also you can get plugs that give money be careful about what plugs you download, though plugins can be very fun.

    • How on Earth did you get such a low Karma rating?

I find it rather difficult to dominate planets in EV. In EVO, all you had to do was get in a Voinian cruiser, go to the crescent, and dominate every planet in sight. However, in EV, I don't have any experience, so I can't really help you.

Only a few planets are really hard, specifically Earth and a few other Confed Worlds. I still haven't beaten Earth's defenders, even with cheater plugs that let you get a lot of extra shields and such. I am curious, has anybody here dominated Earth? I'm not talking about changing the spöb so Earth only has a few weak escorts, I mean dominated it for real. A few times I thought I won, but after destroying all the defenders, and clicking on Demand Tribute, they sent out more frigates. Is that a bug? I'd sure like to dominate the entire universe some day.

    • Scroll down ... there's a relatively recent thread about dominating Sol somewhere in there. Someone commented in it that Earth and Ruby each sport a defence fleet numbering about 4000 ... I looked it up, and it's true! Ye Gods...

    • 4000?!?!?! That's a little.... high... Maybe they should fix that.
Anyway, I don't think you need to be at deadly, you can be a little less than that because I remember attack planets before deadly, but that was in patch numero uno, I think they might have changed that. Well, the only way you can find out is by trying.

Seriously guys it is possible to dominate Earth by killing one frigate without cheating (or at least by cheating without breaking the rules anyway).
