I tried to decode final battle 41 but an error came up that said it couldn't decode it becouse it is sorter than it appeared. Can some one help me get this plug to work?

Hmmm, I'm not really sure what the problem is, cuz I didn't really understand what you said happened. But maybe it got corrupted when you downloaded it, or maybe your stuffit expander is too old. These are just some possibilities, try re-downloading it, maybe off a dif-server if possible. I played FB a while ago and never had any problems starting it, but i'll tell you now that lord of the lemmings made this plug a while ago and there is a huge bug in it that won't allow you to go beyond a certain mission, and he made a patch for it which is on my old computer which I no longer have. I doubt you'll get very far in FB without the patch, and I don't know if he ever put it up on the DL page. Just thought you should know.

Same thing happened to me. Right at the end of when its unstuffing it says the file appears to be shorter than expected. Happens every time, and oon both of my computers. My stuffit expander is not very old.

There is no way to fix the file. It's corrupted and should be deleted from the archives here. The only solution would involve someone uploading to ASW an uncorrputed copy. Does anyone out there have a sound copy of Final Battle 4.1?

The generosity of Jon Potter points the way to Final Battle. It is version 4.0 rather than 4.1, but you can actually expand and decode it, and that's saying a lot. This is the address:
