I know this one cheat that's supposed to make this "satellite of love" thing appear in a shipyard but I can't find it. Does it even exist?

Here is the rumor:
Hold SOL on startup. Then on the 25th shipyard you vist, it is supposed to be there. Just a rumor, i haven't ever tryed it.

I got the SOL once. I honestly don't remember where. you type SOL on start up (hold down the keys for a while i think) and it appears somewhere. It can't be too hard to find; I'm not very patient so if it wasn't pretty easy I would've gotten ****** and left my computer to eat a pickle...mmm...i think I'll go get one now...yummy
Oooooo...that was good...I love pickles.

the SoL is a joke. It is not actually a ship. If you do the cheat it does allow the SoL to appear in shipyards on some planets, but you can not buy it.
Matt is a strange and twisted individual

Really? Well, its possible. It was a long time ago that I saw it and my memory is...err...not the best.

Yes, it is possible to "see" it, but you can't buy or use it.

Another example of Matt's twisted mind:
In the EV code, there is a place where it says something like "enter secret password here"

He's just trying to get you thinking that EV has a special big cheat in it when... BOOM! Someone crashes into your report about a big cheat in EV and tells you that it's nothing, just a useless thing to get you going.

What the SOL does is replaces all of the ship's pictures and descriptions in the shipyard to its own. If you try to buy it, you will just end up buying the ship that is normally in it's place. Learned the hard way when I traded in my kestrel for an argosy.

A while ago, there was another topic about the sattelite of love,
and someone described as a pink shaft with two balls at the end.
I almost died laughing.
Anyway, there are no comm, target or spin pics of it, just the shipyard pic,
so I don't think it's a real ship.

So the satellite of love is a ship, right?

Yes, bt you can't fly it or buy it.

Oh yes... The "satellite of love" Is there any way to post a picture on this board? If so, I could put up a picture of it for all of you to see. Previous people were right. There's only a shipyard picture of it. If you want to do anything with the satellite of love, you'll have to wait until my plug-in. I thought it looked like a good station, so i redid the resource, and it's now a pirate's base called last call outpost (ironic, isn't it). I didn't know it was called the satellite of love before. If you want, I could release a small patch that actualy makes it attainable - what kind of ship do you think it should be?
(P.S.) It won't be wonderful, graphics wise. All I plan on doing is taking the shipyard picture and rotating it. So it will fly at kindof a 45 degree angle.

Long Live the Free Argents!
That's a neat idea. And I think it should have mucho weapon and cargo space, since this plug will most likely be classified as a cheat.
