How do i allocate more memory to Escape velocity? I downloaded this Bounty hunters plug-in and now when i use ev it gets halfway through the startup process and then an error message pops up and says "start up error. try allocating more memory to EV?
How do i allocate memory.

First, click on the EV icon.
Press command-I or select 'Get Info' from the File menu.
Depending on your OS version, you should either see 'Memory Requirements' in the bottom right of the box that pops up, or you should be able to see a menu where you can choose 'Memory.'
Change the 'Preferred' amount of memory to a higher number.
Start up EV.

I had to that for Quantimatire (sp?) too.Do exactly as he says!

ok listen to this. I put in the preferred bow 99999 and it still wont bott all the way up it gives me the error message at the piont of the v (not that it has anything to do with the memory problem). What the hell is wrong with the plugin im tryin to use?!

I can't exactly follow what you're saying, but your problem may not be memory allocation, but lack of physical RAM. How much do you have?

I suggest either increasing virtual memory using the Memory control panel or buying more RAM chips.

Also possible is that the plugin file is corrupted. Download it again and see what happens.
