what mission(s) do I have to do. I am a good egg in all rebel systems, have done Astrodyne missions 1-5, transported one shipment of weapons from clotho prime. I need these ships to kick confed butt.

You have to do some other missions where you bring some spies from Palshife to Earth and back and you'll finally get the Alien Missions. These missions is really long and you have to go around the hole galaxy on an alien hunt. The final mission includes the destruction of an Alien Cruiser, the hardest ship to beat in the EV universe.. When and if you destroy it, go back to Palshife, get 2 million credits and the ability to purchase all the Rebel ships.....

Yes go through the entire mission string for the rebels to get rebel ships.The ships you are able to buy are the Reb. Cruiser,the Reb. Destroyer, and the Manta. They are all great ships. I think that if you beat the aliens after the confed string, you get the chance to buy rebel or confed ships.

If you want to get the alien mission string, you have to go to Sirgil III - it never starts from Palshife, though it does end up there. Land on sirgil III, go to the bar, and you'll be told to investigate the disturbance in the nexus system. Follow the missiono thru and you'll get the rebel ships. Oh, and the tractor beam is SUCH a useful weapon for the final alien mission.
