    • 3D EV with Net play?

      Hey dudes and dudettes! I'm new to this web board thing, so please don't get angry if someone has already mentioned this.

      Has anyone heard about the new game Terminus? It's supposed to be out for the mac/pc/linux on June 27. From the looks of the screenshots its gonna rock! Anyway, it sounds a lot like EV. Choose to be a trader, mercenary, or fighter pilot. Travel the galaxy selling stuff. Get money, upgrade and buy a new ship. Follow branching plotlines, etc. etc. Is somebody rippin' off Ambrosia?

      Yeah, I've heard about it... but it sure ain't EV3D. It's vaguely similar to EV; trading, fighting, etc., but it doesn't have all of EV's elements (interface elements, not plot).

      Besides, its hardware requirements are ludicrous.

      I agree with Coldfusion on this one...

      I wasted a good 3 hours of my life downloading the demo....I have been pretty pumped for this game for about 3 months now...

      Unfortunetly, it sucks. It doens't run exceptionally well on my iMac DV SE (400 mhz G3) and is not that fun to play single...the demo didn't have any multi, so I don't know if the 'constant' multi player thing is any good.

      I was very disappointed, and I wouldn't recomend downloading it unless you have DSL and a fast computer....

      Just stick to EV, much funner 🙂
