man, some people are so dumb...get EV edit and note that the confed cruiser has: 16 torps, 4 proton turrets, 4 neutron cannons, 1 patrol ship bay and 4 patrol ships. it also has 800 sheilds and 100 armour. it would slaughter any ship in EVO. and somewhere else, someone said that a rapier has missiles. pisses me off...

NO YOU DON'T! I have been playing this game for years. I haved dominated every system in the game with out cheating, and so has most of everyone else here. Play final battle. It works. It is not in the regular game though. Plus Final Battle is not a cheat plug-in.

Final Battle is a plug-in for EV. It is pretty good.

I have gotten 4 lighnings for the Kestral before without buying two bays. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The first way is to launch your fighters before you land on a planet that sells the fighters. Then land and buy two more to fill up the bay. Way number two is a lot tougher but if you get it it will always work. Fight a Kestral IF one of its fighters go back into it before you disable it or even afterwards, when you board the ship you will have the opportunity to steal the fighters. I have played this game for a few years and have only been able to do this a few times so don't expect immediate results.

What exactly is final battle. Is it a series of missions leading to either the defeat of the Rebellion or the crushing of the Confederation?

The Cresent Warship will have no chance against the Kestral with 4 fighters. The Kestral would crush it with overwhelming firepower that is backed up with the secondary weapons. I believe that the Confed Cruiser would crush its Voinian counterpart with ease. I dont believe in the scaled down shield. The ships fight well with one another in EVO. The ships seem to be more advanced in EV.

A Kestral with 4 lightnings. The lightnings would put some severe firepower on the Warship before the Kestral even got close. To get 4 lightnings: 1)Go to bar. 2)Hire escort. 3) Repeat step 1-2 until you have 4 lightning escorts and then get rid of you lightning bay. Then you will have four lighnings with your Kestral

I did really good on my driver's exam. I knocked down all the cones.

Without a question, the Fed Cruiser.

It has far more shields and armor than the Voinian Cruiser, its proton turrets rival the neutron's overall damage, and it has the advantage of guided weapons and 4 fighters that are quite a bit quicker than the standard Voinian Fighter.

Confed Cruiser wins hands down, I think. Now the Igazra, there's an EVO ship to match against EV's heavyweights......
