The good news is that I can use plug ins now and you wont hear too many more questions about plug ins. The bad news is I bought a manta bay and 4 mantas but when i tell them to attack they dont fire missile(s)at the enemy. I have tryed the best I could to coax them into it but it was to no prevail.

PS: in the plug fighter bays galore, where can I buy gun boats (and their coresponding bay)? I have searched high and low. A planet and system name would be greatly appreaciated!

They won't fire missiles. They already used them up. Only 2 each. Look for gunboat bays on Earth. Did you install the plug-in called Gunboat Bay?
